Privacy Notice
The privacy policy for PlumRoll.com. Last updated July 2026.
What this site is
PlumRoll.com is a personal photo/video sharing site. It is not a business. There are no accounts, no ads, and nothing here is sold.
What gets logged when you visit
Like most websites, PlumRoll.com keeps a technical record of visits so the site stays fast and secure:
- your IP address, and the approximate location (country, region, city), network provider, and timezone derived from it;
- your browser family and device type (for example “Chrome on mobile”);
- a random, anonymous session id kept in your browser’s sessionStorage - it is deleted when the tab closes and is never stored in a cookie;
- which pages, photos, and videos were opened, and how quickly they loaded or played.
There are no cookies, no advertising or cross-site trackers, and no third-party analytics services - which is also why there is no cookie banner.
Why
Two reasons only: keeping the site working well (measuring how fast photos load and videos start) and keeping it secure (spotting abuse). In EU terms, this processing is based on legitimate interest.
How long it is kept
Visit analytics expire automatically within three months. Error and security logs are kept briefly - a matter of days.
Who processes it
The site runs entirely on Cloudflare’s infrastructure, which serves the pages and media and stores the records described above on PlumRoll.com’s behalf - see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. No data is sold or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies.
Your data
PlumRoll.com has no user accounts and stores nothing that identifies visitors by name; the logged data above ages out automatically. If you are in the EU or UK, you have the usual GDPR rights over personal data such as IP addresses - including access, erasure, and objection.
Changes
If how the site works changes, this notice will be updated here.
